Enso II
Enso II
While the main figure's bold proportions produce the appearance of an "Enso" with exceptional flatness, the brushwork in this piece experiments with the expressive power of the straying splashes of ink that bleed outward along the figure's edges and appear to lift the "Enso" into a three dimensional structure.
